Spencer: Well, that's not how I meant it. I want to EXPRESS my THOUGHTS. I don't CARE if people cancel me because they think I said something I didn't SAY.
Lily: Yeah, I usually feel the same way. The question is, what IMPACT to you want to have on your audience? Do you want to stir up outrage and backlash, or do you want people to GET the VALUE of what you say ? Because if you can make your point in a more palatable way without compromising your message, you might get the SECOND thing. And if you don't, then what's the point of expressing your opinion?
