Simon: Hi Lily. I’ll be in New York tomorrow and I wanted to talk to you first.
Lily: Did Lane tell you what happened?
Simon: Yeah.
Lily: How did you react?
Simon: I know you’re a thoughtful person and you have noble intentions.
Lily: Buuut…?
Simon: I only heard one side of the story.
Lily: That’s not the part that goes after the "but."
