Lily: I know what you're gonna say. "Lily, you don't even wear a bike helmet. You walk barefoot through the woods! And you're afraid of a little rain?"
Simon: I wasn't going to say that.
Lily: Fear isn't logically consistent. All it knows is, I was driving in the rain when I flipped the car over and almost killed me and my sister. Sure, you'd probably be fine driving across town. But my brain is screaming with images of what could happen.
Simon: I get it. I know other people with PTSD.
Lily: You can do what you want, don't let me drag you into my phobias.
Simon: I'm not going anywhere.
(Lily is crying, Simon hugs her)
